Arsenal are set to be without Beth Mead, Leah Williamson, Vivianne Miedema and Kim Little for their game against Wolfsburg, as they all continue to recover from their respective long term injuries.
In the last round of the tournament, Arsenal bravely battled beyond Bayern Munich, despite falling a goal behind in the first leg. In the second leg, they won by a score of 2-0, with their goals coming through Frida Maanum and Stina Blackstenius.
Meanwhile, Wolfsburg defeated PSG in the last round of the tournament. It was a comfortable pair of outings for the Germans, as they won the first leg, then drew the second by a score of 1-1.
In the first leg of the tie, the Gunners and Bayern played out a 2-2 draw. Wolfsburg took the lead in the first half, going 2-0 up through Ewa Pajor and Jane Jonsdottir, but Arsenal battled back in the second half to make up for their slow start.
Rafaelle Souza, after committing a shocking error in the first half, halved the deficit with a brilliant header. Not too long after this, Blackstenius found an equaliser – ensuring the scores would be level in the second leg.
