Kerstin Casparij
22-year-old Kerstin Casparij is a defender who is wise well beyond what her age might suggest. She’s a very intelligent player – as well as functioning as a right-back, she can also play as a wide or central midfielder.
Casparij is very quick – her pace down the right flank makes her a very difficult player to mark. Her lung-bursting runs into the channels have helped her to pick up four assists in all competitions this season for Manchester City.
Before joining City, she played for a number of clubs in The Netherlands, such as SC Heerenveen, VV Alkmaar and FC Twente.
