Chelsea and Arsenal now know who they will face in the Women’s Champions League quarter-finals next month.
Emma Hayes‘ side have been drawn against Lyon. The French side finished second in Arsenal’s group but they are the holders after beating Barcelona in last season’s final.
The Gunners, meanwhile, will be taking on German club Bayern Munich, who were runners-up to Barcelona in the group stage.
The first legs will take place on March 21st/22nd, with Chelsea playing away at Lyon first, while Arsenal will host Bayern. The reverse fixtures will be held a week later.
As well as the quarter-final draw, the semi-final lineups were also drawn at the same time. If Chelsea do get past the reigning champions, they will take on Roma or last season’s finalists Barca.
Arsenal, meanwhile, will be coming up against either Wolfsburg or Paris Saint-Germain if they manage to beat Bayern over two legs.
