Ticket Sales For Chelsea Champions League Clash Exceed 30,000

Chelsea have confirmed that the club have sold over 30,000 tickets for this weekend’s Champions League semi-final second leg against Barcelona.

Emma Hayes’ side are 1-0 up from the first game, with Erin Cuthbert having scored the crucial winner in Spain last Saturday.

The Blues have put themselves in a great position to reach their second Champions League final in three years, having lost to Barca in their first back in 2021.

Fans are keen to show their support for the reigning Women’s Super League champions with there now being potential for a sellout crowd.

When is Chelsea’s game against Barcelona being played?

The Champions League semi-final second leg takes place on Saturday evening, with the kickoff time being 17:30 local time.

Tickets are still on general sale for the match and supporters can purchase their own ahead of the fixture by heading here.

How can I watch Chelsea v Barcelona on TV?

The game this weekend is being televised by TNT Sports in the UK. Fans in other territories will have to check their local TV listings.

Hayes will be keen to bow out on a high

After losing the FA Cup semi-final to Manchester United earlier this month, the Blues are now unable to win a historic treble.

The Blues had already lost the Conti Cup final to Arsenal so manager Emma Hayes will be determined to ensure she wins at least one piece of silverware before she leaves Stamford Bridge after 12 years in charge.

The 47-year-old is set to take over as the United States head coach this summer but, in addition to winning the WSL for the seventh time, she would be ecstatic if she could also guide Chelsea to their first Champions League crown.
