Sarina Wiegman, manager of England Women, has recently celebrated the women’s coach of the year award at the 2022 Best Fifa Football Awards in Paris.
In the post, Wiegman wrote: “Last night was a celebration of football and for me especially of Women’s Football. On the pitch we’re competitors, but off the pitch we’re all one team. A team who together can grow and develop the sport in a sustainable way. We must never forget the basics and the values that make women’s football so beautiful and unique.
“I’m honoured to receive the award and I’d like to thank my amazing players, support team and of course my family.”
