Maya Le Tissier, one of England’s most exciting rising stars, made an Instgram post following the Three Lionesses’ epic battle with Italy.
It was a difficult game for England, but they nevertheless came out on top as a headed brace from Aston Villa’s Rachel Daly. As well as Daly, Manchester City’s Lauren Hemp, Brighton’s Katie Robinson and Arsenal’s Lotte Wubben-Moy were all very impressive.
The post features a couple of photos showing in-game shots of Le Tissier on the ball, as well as a photo of the team lining up before the game and of them celebrating a goal.
Le Tissier captioned her post with: “Loved playing in front of the home crowd! Great atmosphere to top off the win.”
