WSL and Chelsea star Millie Bright, who is currently out of action with an injury, has given her fans a thank you message on Instagram for their support.
In the post, Bright is pictured alongside members of her family as they get ready for an Easter walk. Bright is shown to be using crutches in the photo – as such, Blues fans should not expect to see her back on the pitch any time soon.
Also featured in the post is Bright’s boyfriend, Levi Crew, who is a sports performance coach with over ten years of experience (according to his Instagram page).
For the post’s caption, Bright wrote: “Time together is priceless. Thanks for all the love peeps, I’m on the mend back.”
Currently, Bright’s post has just over 20,000 likes on Instagram. It has been liked by other WSL players such as Jelena Cankovic, Ella Toone and fellow Chelsea star Lauren James. Additionally, both Rachel Daly and Carly Telford left a comment on her post.
Bright has been at Chelsea since 2015, making her one of the longest-serving players in WSL history – in fact time, she has made 241 appearances for the club. Outside of Chelsea, Bright has also enjoyed stints at Doncaster Rovers Belles and Leeds United.
