Rachel Daly
At the start of the 2022/23 season, Rachel Daly probably wouldn’t have even been considered for a list such as this. However, things have changed since then.
Last season in the WSL, Daly was an absolute menace. She scored 22 goals in 22 games for Aston Villa (alongside five assists), making her the top goalscorer in the division.
At 31 years of age, she isn’t getting any younger, but she seems to have recently hit her prime – England should take full advantage of this at the World Cup.
