‘You’re Very Special’ Manchester United Star Gives Heartfelt Farewell Message On Social Media

Vilde Boe Risa issued a gut-wrenching farewell message to Manchester United fans on Instagram upon the completion of her transfer move to Atletico Madrid.

Boe Risa signed for United back in 2021 – since then, she has made 29 appearances for the Red Devils in the WSL, scoring two goals along the way.

Now, she will play her football in La Liga after signing a one-year deal with Las Rojiblancas. Additionally, Boe Risa also represented Norway at the 2023 Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

On Instagram, Boe Risa wrote: “To all the Manchester United fans. Thanks for taking care of me. The club will always have a special place in my heart and I will never take for granted the way you’ve supported me through everything. You’re very special.

“To play for the club I have grown up supporting will stay with me forever and I will treasure so many special memories that we’ve made together. But now it feels like the right time to take up this new opportunity and express myself the way I know I can.

“My final message is to the players. I will miss every single one of you. You’re like family to me. I’ve never been part of a team where the girls are as amazing as you are! I’m definitely your biggest fan and I always always be. Thank you for everything.”
