WSL Star Posts Emotional Picture With Late Mother On Mothers’ Day

WSL and Lionesses superstar Beth Mead posted a tear-jerking photo on Mother’s Day. The photo showed her celebrating a goal for England with her mum, June Mead, who died on January 7, 2023.

This is the first Mother’s Day that Mead will spend without her beloved mum. In the post, the Arsenal icon described her mother as “my everything”.

The post’s full caption read as follows: “Happy Mother’s Day to my hero, my everything, my mama. You were one in a million, not a day goes by I don’t miss you. Keep shining bright.”
