WSL Superstar Reveals ‘Life Changing Day’ In Instagram Post

WSL and West Ham United shot-stopper Mackenzie Arnold has recently shared a ‘life changing’ decision she has made in a post on Instagram.

Arnold has struggled with her hearing for several years – as such, she has decided to begin using hearing aids, as detailed in her post.

For the post’s caption, Arnold wrote: “Those closest to me know how long I’ve avoided this day, but here’s a little glimpse of a life changing day for me. Yesterday I picked up my hearing aids, and although it’s something I’ll need to get used to, I couldn’t be more grateful for this little adjustment.”

Currently, Arnold’s post has over 8,500 likes on Instagram. Among those who have liked the post include Sam Kerr, Beth Mead and Alex Greenwood.

Additionally, a few of Arnold’s contemporaries also left a comment on the post. One of the commenters, Caitlin Foord, playfully teased her London rival, writing: ‘Can’t wait to not have to repeat myself anymore.’

Despite her hearing problems, Arnold has been one of the best goalkeepers in the WSL this season. The Australian ‘keeper has made more saves than any other player in the division – 52 – and she also boasts a save percentage of 73.3%.
