WSL Weekend Preview

WSL Weekend Preview

We have a full set of WSL fixtures to bring to you this weekend – with teams jostling for position at both ends of the league table, who can give themselves a late-season advantage over their rivals?

In their first game of the weekend, featured on Friday night, Arsenal will take on a relegation-threatened Leicester City outfit. The Foxes won’t make it easy – they defeated Liverpool by a score of 4-0 in their last game – but nevertheless, the Gunners will enter this game as massive favourites.

At 12:30 on Saturday afternoon, Manchester United will square off against an eclectic Tottenham Hotspur side. Spurs have had a campaign with high peaks and deep valleys – United, meanwhile, will be looking to maintain their position at the top of the WSL table.

Liverpool will be licking their wounds after they were thumped by Leicester City in their last fixture – they’ll be given a shot at redemption when they take on Manchester City. The Citizens are no pushovers, however – a win could propel them to the top spot.

Following their Champions League defeat against Barcelona, Chelsea will be looking to pick themselves up as they play Everton. The Toffees are mired in midtable – meanwhile, a win for Chelsea would shoot them right back into the title picture.

Elsewhere this weekend, West Ham United will take on Brighton, while Reading will play Aston Villa. Which of these six games will you be watching?
