The WSL enters its 17th game week of the season this weekend – Manchester United will take on Brighton, Chelsea will play Aston Villa and Manchester City will clash with Arsenal.
With both teams embroiled in a fascinating title race, the game between the Gunners and the Citizens is guaranteed to produce fireworks.
The two teams have squared off twice this season – once in the league and once in the FA Cup, with each team picking up a victory. Who will win the decider?
League leaders Manchester United will be looking to maintain their position at the summit of the WSL with a win over relegation-threatened Brighton.
Brighton have avoided defeat in just five league games this season. To pick up anything against the Red Devils would be a major accomplishment – but likewise, Manchester United will need to be on top of their game to avoid a potential banana skin.
Chelsea, who are also in the thick of the title race, will play Aston Villa at the weekend. Villa have been on a brilliant run as of late – the Midlands outfit have not lost in the WSL since December.
Of course, Chelsea are no pushovers either – but they suffered defeat in their last league game, where they were beaten by a score of 2-0 against Manchester City.
Everton will take on Tottenham Hotspur, as the North London club look to put an end to their disastrous run in the WSL. The Toffees will give them a stern challenge, but Spurs must begin to pick up results soon – or risk relegation.
Additionally, West Ham will take on Liverpool and Leicester will take on Reading in a potentially feisty relegation clash.
