The 2023 Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand has now concluded – despite a spirited effort from England, they were beaten out at the final hurdle by a well-drilled Spain outfit.

Despite Spain’s victory, none of their players will be making our list – which should speak volumes as to how good these three players featured were.
